Bordello of Blood (1996)

Director: Gilbert Adler

Starring: Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, John Kassir, Angie Everhart, Chris Sarandon, Corey Feldman, William Sadler

More info: IMDb

Plot: The old bag of bones 'Cryptkeeper' returns for his second full length feature flick about a funeral home that's a front for a whorehouse run by vampires.

My rating: 6/10

Will I watch it again? Yeah.

If you like Dennis Miller you'll probably like this film. If not...well, there you go. For me the whole picture hinges on Miller's wisecracking performance. He's a lot of fun and without him it wouldn't be anything I'd care to ever revisit. After seeing Chris Sarandon in THE SENTINEL (1977) a few weeks back I would have been just fine never seeing another one of his movies but he's actually fun in this one. As far as the performances go, the broads that play the villains are the worst of the lot, but then this is just a silly, campy B-picture with a whorehouse run by vampires so your expectations can't be too high to begin with.
