#219 on Drive-In Delirium Volume 2 (part of the TRAILER TRASH PROJECT)

Woof.  I haven't seen this in over 25 years.  I remember liking it OK, with the second story about the goo in the lake being the best of the three.  There are only three stories this time and they seem like they were probably better served in the comic where they should have stayed.  The first one, Old Chief Wood'nhead goes on too long.  George Kennedy and Dorothy Lamour are nice to watch but there's not much Indian revenge action once it finally happens.  The second story, The Raft, is the best by far.  It's genuinely creepy and well-executed.  Then there's The Hitchhiker.  Lois Chiles stars (and, ooh, we get to see her Moonrakers!!!) but there's  not enough else to recommend this one.  It felt too long and lacked suspense or scares.  Les Reed's score was ill-fitting. This picture was crying out for a better score.  Overall, CREEPSHOW 2 is just a bore with a couple of bright spots in an otherwise dim picture.
