My rating: 7/10

Will I watch it again? Probably not but if I did it'd be the last half that is the tournament.

I like Vince Vaughn.  He can play the same type of snarky character until he expires and I'll be OK with that.  I won't like a lot of his movies but that's fine.  Ben Stiller ran out of funny a long time ago and the character he plays in this is just like many of the annoyingly stupid characters he plays in most of his pictures.  He needs to stop.  Where do I sign the petition?  This flick has a good share of laughs (Rip Torn had the lion's share until...) but it really kicks in with the funny halfway in when the Las Vegas tournament begins.  For there on out it's pretty fucking funny.  Jason Bateman as one of the commentators is hilarious.  Every scene with him equals the best parts of the movie.  The Lance Armstrong cameo is hilarious with his little pep talk that's all the more funny with the later discovery that he'd been on performance-enhancing drugs to get those Tour de France wins.  And it doesn't hurt to have William Shatner show up for a fun cameo.  The other cameos were hilarious, too.  MILFS, Moose Knucklers, Clown Punchers and She-Mullets are a few.  For the most part I didn't start to really enjoy the movie until the second half.  At least it had a strong finish.
