Night of the Creeps (1986)

Director: Fred Dekker

Starring: Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshall, Jill Whitlow, Wally Taylor, Bruce Solomon, David Paymer, Dick Miller

More info: IMDb

Tagline: "The good news is your dates are here. The bad news is... they're dead."

Plot: When two fraternity brothers thaw out a corpse from their school clinic, evil slugs from outer space that had been frozen inside the body race across campus, infecting lusty coeds and turning them into flesh-hungry zombies. Now it's up to a chain-smoking former cop (Atkins) to save the whole town from the alien menace.

My rating: 8/10

Will I watch it again? You Bet'cha!

#77 on Drive-In Delirium Vol. 1 (Part of the Trailer Trash Project)

There are two HUGE reasons why everyone needs to see this picture - 1) the AMAZINGLY AWESOME Tom Atkins (he's priceless in this movie) and 2) it's just one hell of a good time horror comedy with great effects, a good story and some great laughs. If you watch this and don't say "Thrill me!" the next time you pick up the phone then there's something wrong with you because there's certainly nothing wrong with this movie. OK, so I'm biased. I just really dig this flick.
