Tagline: She sought refuge from her unquenchable thirst for love
Plot: Renouncing her "sinful" past, Emanuelle has entered a convent and has dedicated herself to a life of service. Enter Monika, the free-spirited, free-loving daughter of a wealthy Baron. Emanuelle is charged with keeping Monika in line, but when the young girl's wild ways bring back memories of her own sensual past, Emanuelle begins questioning her own religious and sexual identity. Advances from an escaped killer who is hiding in the convent serve to complicate matters further.
My rating: 7/10

HA! Prudes! (That's Monica kissing her stepmother, by the way, and it's a long, deep kiss, too.)
Monica (Zanchi) is one horny broad. No sooner is she on the train to go to the convent, she's trying to make the moves on Emanuelle (Gemser) who doesn't take too well to Monica's advances.
Moments later...
Monica tells Emanuelle a story of how she lost her virginity. As she tells it she was all innocent and wasn't asking for it at all but we see a different version...
I'd run, too.
Monica gets naked A LOT!
and tries to have sex with every hot young thing she can get her hands on...
and she sometimes succeeds.
Like all Emanuelle movies (most of which star Laura Gemser) there's an abundance of nudity and excuses to get naked and fuck around. No exception here. It's surprisingly entertaining because while I knew what I was getting into (I'm familiar with the Emanuelle series but I've barely scratched the surface on them) I didn't think it would hold my attention. Often you'll find these softcore films (there is a hardcore version out there but without an English option and you know how important that is in a porn, right?) filled with overlong scenes of writhing naked bodies that turn mundane within a minute. That's OK sometimes but it's usually boring as hell as they can only do so much without sticking things in places that need to be stuck. This one isn't like that at all. There are plenty but they're short and move on quickly.
NUNS ON THE SPOILER ALERT!!! YARRRR!!!
The ending was rather peculiar and I REALLY liked it. The entire film up to that point is in Emanuelle's head. She was working the demons she'd been struggling and came to the conclusion that she's through being a nun. It might sound cheap or corny as a plot device but I thought it worked really well. It was off-putting for a moment but by the time the credits rolled seconds later I was totally on board with it and it elevates the picture to something beyond your typical picture of this kind. Nice job. Until that point I was pretty sure I wouldn't revisit this picture again. Now it's an obvious yes.
