More info: IMDb

Tagline: Total terror - you'll be scared to breathe..!

Plot: A group of three criminals on the run from the law, go about terrorizing the local townsfolk of a small community, before descending on an isolated farm which is home to a young girl named Lisa and her paralyzed grandfather. After being sexually assaulted by two of the gangsters, she retaliates using an axe and a razor blade.

My rating: 4/10

Will I watch it again? Nope.

#210 on Drive-In Delirium Vol. 1 (Part of the Trailer Trash Project)

At barely an hour, AXE can be tough to get through. You've basically got some criminals causing mischief that end up terrorizing a young girl at a farmhouse until she gets revenge. It could have been so much better. It's another case of cut 25% of the fat away and you might have something kind of movie. It's slow and pointless. I can handle the pointless but when it drags like crazy it's tough to endure. DRINKING GAME: Every time Steele says his partner's name, Lomax, drink. You'll be hammered inside of 15 minutes. AXE isn't really gruesome although there is some gore and violence in the second half of the picture. When it was done I felt completely indifferent and satisfied to just watch the trailer further down the line.
