Will I watch it again? Probably not.
NICE! Talk about a pleasant surprise! I remember seeing the trailer for this in the theater and hearing laughter from the audience when the screen said, "From the mind of M. Night Shayamalan". But then once the movie came out I heard it wasn't that bad. So I finally watched it and fuck me sideways, it's pretty a fucking good horror/thriller. I almost gave it an 8 out of 10 but the music was way to heavy handed at times but quite good at others. I really like seeing detectives/cops who are really smart and good at their jobs and Detective Bowden (Messina) is one of those guys. He's great. There is some wonderful misdirection but don't look for anything. Just sit back, enjoy it and let yourself get taken in for the ride. You may find yourself as surprised as I was. It's a great little thriller. Does it end well? Before you see how it's going down toward the end I had my ending already picked out but it turned out it wasn't this one. I'm not upset about the it but I would have preferred something different, something more...devilish. Bwahahahahahahahaha. Ugh.
