My rating: 6/10

Will I watch it again?  No.

This one's a slow go and if you've seen a few Pete Walker pictures then you'll know how that goes.   A few minutes in you get a nice grisly, vicious kill.   There are a couple more in the picture with the final one being accidental and neat.  The killer was a surprise to me but these things only help a little considering the mystery lasts for an hour and a half.  Pop sensation Jack Jones does a rather good job in the lead as the, surprise, pop singer working on his next album.  If you dig the slow burn, leisurely paced mystery pictures that straddle the lines of an Italian Giallo, then this might do it for you.  For me, it held my interest somewhat but it's ultimately ho-hum.  The Shriek Show DVD, part of the Pete Walker Collection, presents the film in fullscreen.  The only extras you get are the trailer (also fullscreen), trailers for five other Walker pictures, a photo gallery and text film notes.
