My rating: 7/10

Will I watch it again?  Maybe.

You watch Woody for the dialogue and the funny.  70s Woody, even at its worst, was fun and different.  This one is close enough to the 70s that I'll lump it in with those.  It's funny but not a screamer.  The cast is great.  Woody and Tony Roberts are terrific.  Really.  These two guys, though they worked together 7 times, were great on screen.  I'm really surprised Roberts wasn't in more of Woody's pictures.  The music is fun and it's a nice change of pace with the location and time period not being contemporary New York City.  I'm sure I'll come back to this one in another twenty or thirty years.  The MGM DVD presents the film (and sole extra, the original theatrical trailer) in anamorphic widescreen.
