Will I watch it again? No.

Who would've thought that Roger Corman + Hawaii + island babes = a one-way ticket to Yawnsville?  For cryin' out loud, it's an hour long and it felt like twice that.  The story is about as boring as can be.  It's obvious this was a quickie for Corman while he was in Hawaii shooting another picture.  He's hit and miss and this one's a miss for sure.  There's something about sacrificing these hot island mamas to the idol sunk in shark-infested waters because one of the two guys broke a lei.  Whatever.  SHE GODS is a slow drama with very little adventure.  And fuck Mill Creek for including this on their 50 movie pack of sci-fi classics!  That's right.  They consider this science fiction.  Corman had nothing to do with it of course but no matter how you look at it, I got screwed.  The print they use is utter crap.  But, hey, watch the trailer above and tell me you can't still love this guy.  I hope he doesn't die.
