Will I watch it again?  Maybe.

This is watch number two and it was at least 15 years ago since I saw it.  It still holds up.  It's as funny as I remember but I'd forgotten that it's the last third that lacks the funny, at least it doesn't have nearly as many laughs (not even close) as the first two thirds have.  Once Ronnie goes into his funk, the jokes are few and far between and once he's back there aren't enough to make up for it.  It's still a funny flick with LOTS of laugh out loud bits and there are A TON of cameos.  It's no surprise that Jeff Goldblum kills it for his minute of screen time.  Koechner is also hilarious but as a much different character than I've seen him play and that's refreshing.  It's crazy this movie is almost twenty years old.  Time sure does fly.  If you like your Rednexploitation flicks like JOE DIRT (2001) and MY NAME IS EARL (2005), this one's not too far behind them with the funny quotient, albeit not as consistent.  Oh, and that animated opener, putting their spin on the "let's all go to the lobby" theater concession stand commercial is a fucking riot.  That tickled the piss outta me, but only like two drops.
