Director: Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Brie Larson, Tony Danza, Rob Brown, Lindsey Broad
More info: IMDb
Plot: Jon Martello objectifies everything in his life: his apartment, his car,
his family, his church, and, of course, women. His buddies even call
him Don Jon because of his ability to pull "10s" every weekend without
fail. Yet even the finest flings don't compare to the transcendent bliss
he achieves alone in front of the computer watching pornography.
My rating: 8.5/10
Will I watch it again? YES!!!
Do I recommend it? Without question.
Jesus Christ on rubber crutches!!! JGL's debut is one fucking hilarious movie. I laughed so hard that one of my testicles popped out and rand down my pant leg. This is insanely funny. It's got a great cast, editing, pacing, the works. And best of all? It doesn't go where you think it ends up exactly where it needed to (much to my surprise). Ladies, when you see this there won't be a dry seat in the house.
Fellas, you're probably going to identify with Jon in some way (even if you're nowhere near like him) and love it all the way through the credits. I never thought I would love Tony Danza as much as I did in this film. It's inspired casting. When this gets a theatrical release, YOU..MUST...SEE IT!
